Hidayah Amin

About me

Welcome to Hidayah Amin's digital portfolio!

This website gives you an online glimpse into my world. It also serves as a showcase of my writings, papers, projects as well as some instructional technology projects I had done at Lehigh University where I pursued my Master of Science degree on the Fulbright Scholarship.

Education: I was educated at the National University of Singapore and at the prestigious Sciences-Po Paris. I have also been awarded several scholarships and awards: the Alpha Delta Kappa Foundation's International Teacher Education Scholarship, the Tan Kah Kee Postgraduate Scholarship and the President's Guide Award (the first Malay Guide in Singapore to receive it). I also interned pro-bono at the United Nations Headquarters in New York City for 6 months after my graduate studies at Lehigh.

Passion: An adventurous person, I travel widely from the hamlets of Morocco to the Everest region. I am also active in community work and going on humanitarian expeditions. I love to talk to the people whom I met during my relief missions. There is so much to learn from those who smile at the face of hardship.

Goals: God willing, I hope to set up Gedung Kuning Foundation that will administer the Hidayah Amin & Nusantara Scholarships as well as the Asia Jofrie Free Clinic.
