Haji Yusoff's contributions to the community:

Haji Yusoff was the Nazir of the Sultan Mosque for 30 years from 1914-1944. Together with the Management Committee members, he raised funds and looked after the development of the mosque. He was also a philanthropist and an anonymous donor who gave generously.

 

Haji Yusoff's Will also provided for monthly and annual donations to poor widows and orphans; to religious teachers engaged by his family, and to the Sultan Mosque and Clyde Street Mosque (to provide food for the poor during the fasting month of Ramadan).
